Today is the World Environment Day. Everyone around you including TV and Radio would talk about environment topics. You would listen same type-cast suggestions like ''Save Trees", "Save Earth" and "Save Water" etc. Anyone ever cares a little for nature or earth on other days than Environment Day? People and media just describes a goody goody big list of "what should we do?"
There are many solutions for saving environment and nature. But only bit of them are practically possible. We can't go to office on bicycle alone. It should be joined by other people of the city or country. Solar energy can reduce our dependent on electricity. But the technology itself is very immature. The setup to get solar energy is costlier than amount of energy we get. It is same about using Biofuel and Hydrogen as fuel for cars. If we grow more and more Jetrofa to get Biofuel there will be no land for farming.
So what's the moral of the story is that we should think about saving environment everyday. We all must invent practically helpful measures to save our eco systems.

Naxalism : Can we win?
Our country is facing toughest problem of its history. Which is Naxalism, spread in 5 states of the country. Naxalism is dangerous to our democracy. Naxalites knows no language but violence. They want to spread fear among people. Naxalites movement was started to help exploited and backward people. But now a bunch of Naxali leaders want to be rulers of the country. The movement has now became a bloody money-making business. They are backed by countries like China and Nepal.
Naxalites were not such proactive before. They involed themselves only in small clashes in West Bengal, Jharkhand and Andhra Pradesh. Naxalites run parellel government in many districts of five states. They collect taxes and tolls in that region. Police also fears to go in Naxal-affected areas. They pays labour and sallary to the workers. They have started mass-distruction activities. They killed 70 CRPF and Police officers in Dantewada of Chhatisgadh. Then they attacked a passenger bus in same region. Some days ago they deraied Gyanjivan Express in Jhargram.
Now enough is enough. We can't tolerate such violence. It is right time for government to take action against them. But the central government seems in no mood of strict measures. Centre can't deny its responsibilities. Naxalism is a national-concerned issue. It is duty of both cemter and state to look into. Government just can't decide exact reason for Naxalism. Some ministers considers it as a security problem, on the other hand some see it as development problem. Government also hasitates with usage of Army and Air Force against naxalites. If we can use arm-forces against terrorists then why not against them.
Yes we can win against naxalism. Government have to take moderated actions. First they have to think about strict army action. Along it they should try to make development in naxal-affected areas.
